Write around the Murray projects 2011

Games we play projection

Games We Play

The Games We Play cross generational project involved students from Murray High, Lavington Public School and residents of the UPA Murray River aged-care hostel, in a search for children’s games that may have been lost over time.

The children explored classic games such as marbles, skipping and knuckles along with one or two rediscovered gems too obscure even for Google. Artist and filmmaker Tony Nott collaborated on the project and the resulting film will be shown during the festival.

Graphic Traffic projection

‘Graphic Traffic’ with John Skillington and James Fallon High

A group of Photo Imaging students from James Fallon High School will be taking to the walls outside the LibraryMuseum during Write around the Murray to show the people of Albury their digital skills - three storeys high. The 2D and 4D artworks to be projected include manipulated photos, animations and video which revolve around the idea of 'text as image'.
