Charmaine Ledden-Lewis

Charmaine Ledden-Lewis is a proud Bundjalung woman and award-winning illustrator, residing on Dharug and Gundungurra Country in the Blue Mountains. Charmaine brings vivid and emotive visual storytelling to each book she creates and is passionate about sharing First Nations experiences and perspectives through the language of art.

Charmaine is a Board Director at Varuna National Writers’ House, an Ambassador for the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) and strongly believes in the promotion and advocacy of visual literacy and storytelling.
