Where: LibraryMuseum, Corner of Kiewa and Swift Streets, Albury
Price: $80/$70 conc.
There are many ways of writing stories drawn from life, ranging from memoir to autobiography, from short story to novel, from personal journal to biography. Or they can be written for family, or to illustrate a social issue or personal quest. The crucial question is, what is the best way to write it, and how to bring your experiences, life story, specific episodes, or family history to life in a way that will engage and hold the reader. Drawing on 35 years of experience as a writer across the genres, and as a teacher of creative writing, the workshop will include writing exercises, feedback, mini-talks, and question and answer sessions.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced writer, you are sure to expand your skills with acclaimed Australian writer, novelist, storyteller and human rights advocate, Arnold Zable.
