The program provides not-for-profit community groups and individuals with funding to undertake community and cultural programs that develop community capacity, meet a community need or provide the community with a cultural experience.
AlburyCity Mayor Kylie King congratulated the successful grant recipients.

A total of $21,437 will be provided to the sucessful applicants, including:
- Judith Langridge - Step Out Against Violence
- Dr Aimee Chan - The Happy Mask Show
- Mrs Erica Okamura - Community Movement Connections: A Multicultural Dance Exchange
- Road Safety Education Limited - Road Safety Education for Young Drivers
- Thurgoona Public School Parents and Citizens’ Association - The Thurgoona Public School Clean-Up Australia Day
- Project Bantu Cultural Institute / Edielson Da Silva Miranda - Capoeira Community Workshop
- Murray River Fine Music - Murray River Fine Music Student Workshops and Professional Concerts Weekend
- Albury & Border Rescue Squad - VRA Rescue NSW - Lighten the load
Applications for Round 2 of AlburyCity's Community and Cultural Grants Program 2022/23 will open on 1 February 2023.
