Writers from across Australia are invited to enter the AlburyCity Short Story Award. There is no set theme. Just submit your most inspired writing!

Our short story judge, Kathryn Heyman, will announce the award winners at the start of the Write Around the Murray Festival on Wednesday 13 September at 6pm. The announcement will premiere on our YouTube channel. Hear Kathryn reflect on the stories that captured her attention and their winning qualities.

Short-listed stories will be listed on this page at least one week prior to the awards announcement. All entrants will be notified.
