Nicola Redhouse is a Melbourne-based writer with an interest in the mind and the intersection between subjective human experience and science. She is the author of Unlike the Heart: a memoir of brain and mind (UQP, March 2019) and has been published in places including Meanjin, The Monthly, the Australian, Island magazine and Best Australian Stories. She has worked as a book editor for Australian trade publishers big and small since 2005.
