Jock Serong

Jock Serong’s first novel, Quota, received the Ned Kelly Award for Best First Crime Novel in 2015. He is also the author of The Rules of Backyard Cricket, On The Java Ridge, Preservation and, most recently, The Burning Island. On the Java Ridge won both the Colin Roderick Award and the inaugural Staunch Prize (UK). Jock lives with his family on Victoria’s far west coast.
