He performs a wide range of musical styles convincingly, from Rock to Country, Blues and Jazz to Pop and beyond.

Paul has been actively involved in song writing throughout his career, from performing original songs in rock bands after leaving school, to recording his first original CD in 1994. His debut album, “My Heart has found a Home” featured a number of original songs, two of which charted at No. 4 and No. 6 on the Australian Country Music Charts that year. Paul was then nominated in 1995 for Best New Talent in the Australian Country Music Awards.

In recent years, Paul has produced several albums for independent artists as well as his own projects. His Sydney based band, “Big Sky” is about to release an album featuring a number of Paul’s' songs. He currently runs his own project studio, where he specializes in recording and arranging songs for various local songwriters, often helping writers marry music to their lyrics.

Paul has established regular Song writing Workshops at the Murray Conservatorium, covering topics from “Demoing your songs” to “Writing from a Title”. Paul never allows his technical knowledge to overshadow the power and importance of the song, both lyrically and musically.
