John Charalambous
 

john charalambous John Charalambous was born and educated in Melbourne. After an initial interest in painting and sculpture, he began writing in the early 1980s, and had short stories published in various small magazines. His first novel, Furies, was published by UQP in 2004, and was short-listed for the Commonwealth Writer's Prize Best First Book in our region. His second novel, Silent Parts, published in 2006, again by UQP, was long-listed for the Miles Franklin Award. John lives in Glenrowan with his wife Evalyn and two sons.
